The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is requesting public input about Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans.
Section 50311(b) of the recently passed Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Public Law No. 115-123) creates a new Section 1859(f)(8) of the Social Security Act in order to increase integration of Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs). In particular, the statute directs CMS to:

ACL’s Administration on Disability is announcing two funding opportunities. These opportunities are for one National Paralysis Resource Center and up to five (5) Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) State Pilot Programs. The purpose of the programs is to improve the quality of life for people living with paralysis and to leverage resources through collaboration.

ACL will host Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Stakeholder Day on March 19, 2018, and a brown bag lunch during Brain Injury Awareness Day on Capitol Hill on March 20, 2018. Brain Injury Awareness Day is hosted by the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force, co-chaired by representatives Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-N.J.) and Thomas J. Rooney (R-Fla.).
