The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) will host a webinar on May 14 at 3 - 4:30 pm ET about Medicare eligibility and coverage. Presenters from the Center for Medicare Advocacy will address important information about eligibility and the basics of Medicare, as well as offer a Q&A session.
The session will cover a variety of topics in depth including eligibility and enrollment in Medicare, coordination of Medicare with other insurance, focus on Medicare coverage of home health care and durable medical equipment, and how to choose between traditional Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan. Following the hour-long webinar will be a live 30-minute question and answer session to address any remaining topics or unanswered questions.
The webinar is open to the public and registration is free. It will be hosted by Judith Stein, the Executive Director and attorney for the Center for Medicare Advocacy, and Kathleen Holt, the Associate Director and attorney for the Center for Medicare Advocacy.
The session will be recorded and re-aired on June 13 at 3 p.m. EST with a new live Q&A session afterward for attendees. Registration for the webinar can be found on the Reeve Foundation’s events page.
