DETAC Webinar on Customized Employment in Action

Each October, National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) recognizes the valuable contributions, skills, and talents that people with disabilities bring to America’s workforce. In recognition of this year’s theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” join the Disability Employment Technical Assistance Center (DETAC) for a webinar on how customized employment can connect job seekers’ strengths with business needs.

This webinar will share practical techniques for creating customized jobs that work for job seekers and employers. Participants will learn how lean strategies can improve employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities and businesses and hear about employers’ experiences with customized employment, including what worked and its value to their organizations.

The ACL-funded Disability Employment Technical Assistance Center(DETAC) provides evidence-based training and technical assistance to Administration on Disabilities (AoD) grant recipients for improving competitive integrated employment and economic outcomes for individuals with disabilities across the nation.
