When he was 18, a spinal cord injury changed Josh’s life, but not his academic and career goals
The summer after his freshman year of college, Josh experienced a spinal cord injury which led to paralysis. Josh was determined to continue pursuing his dreams, starting with his education, but he didn’t know how.
Josh sought out resources, including his state’s vocational rehabilitation program and the Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work program. Josh used these resources and assistive technology to pursue his goals, including graduating from law school. Josh now works as a medical malpractice attorney in Maryland.
